Dogstival

The dogstival 2025 will be held on Saturday, 31st May, and Sunday, 1st June. It will be held at Burley Park in the New Forest, Hampshire, BH24 4BS. The festival runs from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and promises a great day out for both dogs and owners. There is something for everyone. You will find a wide array of entertainment. This includes arena displays with terrier racing and flyball, agility courses, scent work, splash pools and talks on nutrition. There will also be live music, comedy shows, and street performances. Along with over 130 stalls selling dog products, treats, and accessories.

Ferndown Fete

The Ferndown fete is organised by the Ferndown & Parley Rotary. And will be held on Saturday, 21st June 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The event will be held at King George V Playing Fields, Peter Grant Way, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9EZ. The fete has something for everyone. Including a fun dog show, live entertainment from local bands and dancers, and a variety of stalls selling crafts and food. Also, a classic car show, exciting falconry displays, and plenty of children’s activities. The general admission is free to this fete, making it a great, affordable day out. Broadstone Family Fun Day

The Broadstone Family Fun Day on Sunday, July 6, 2025, starts from 11 AM to 6 PM! This fantastic community event is completely free! And will take place at the Broadstone Recreation Ground, located at 7 Barn Road, Broadstone, BH18 8NH. While entry is free, some activities might have a small fee. For instance, if you want to enter your furry friend in the dog show (hosted by Waggy Tails Rescue), you can register on the day. Plus, there will be raffles available for just £1 each! This family-friendly event is packed with fun activities. Such as live music, delicious food and craft stalls, vintage car displays, and face painting. So there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Westival

Westival 2025 is on Saturday, July 12th, from 12 pm to 4 pm at Fryer Field in West Moors. (entrance via Bond Avenue) This festival has free entry and promises affordable fun for the whole family! There will be live music, different shows, and tasty food and drink stalls. Ensuring there are lots of activities for everyone. There would, of course, be the fan favourite, the dog show, with exciting dog classes and displays. It’s a perfect day to enjoy with your whole family, your furry friend. Dog Show at The Walled Garden

Moreton The Dog Show takes place on 13th July 2025 at the Walled Garden, Moreton, Dorset DT2 8RH. This is a must-visit event for all dog lovers in Dorset. This event offers a variety of dog show categories. Including Best Rescue, Prettiest Bitch, Handsomest Dog, and Waggiest Tail, ensuring that every pooch has a chance to shine. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the dog show starting at 11:00 AM. Besides the dog show, there will be a wide range of local stalls featuring dog products, treats, and accessories.

Abbotsbury Summer Fête

The Abbotsbury Summer Fête has free entry and is a cherished tradition in Dorset. The event w will take place on Saturday, 26th July 2025, from 12:00 to 16:00. This year a dog show will be a prominent feature of the event, offering a variety of fun categories such as Best Rescue, Waggiest Tail, Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Best Puppy, Best Senior Dog, and the ultimate Best in Show. Beyond the dog show, the fête will offer a vintage vehicle display, where visitors can enjoy a showcase of classic cars, trucks, and other historical vehicles.

The event will also feature a range of stalls selling local produce, where you can purchase handmade crafts, fresh local items, and unique treasures. There will also be a variety of food and drink vendors, serving up delicious treats to enjoy while exploring the festivities. Families are in for a treat, with plenty of activities for children, making it the perfect day out for all ages.

Dorset Plane Pull

Dorset Plane Pull 2025 is on Monday, 25th August, from 10 am to 5:30 pm. The event is being held at the European Aviation, Bournemouth Airport, Aviation Business Park, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 6SE. Your well-behaved pooches are welcome as long as they are on leads. The Dorset Plane Pull is a unique charity event where teams of 20 individuals work together to pull a Boeing 737 weighing 35,000 kg over a distance of 50 meters. This exhilarating challenge aims to raise funds for various local charities. Teams are encouraged to fundraise a minimum of £1,000 to participate. The Margaret Green Animal Rescue Centre’s County Dog Show is a popular annual event. It is being held at their Church Knowle centre, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 5NQ. The event is scheduled for Sunday, 10th August, and it starts at 11:00 AM. The dog show will then commence at 11:30 AM and will end at 6:00 PM. The dog event has many categories. This includes Waggiest Tail: Golden Oldie (7+), Best Rescue, The Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home, Most Fabulous Fella, Most Gorgeous Girl, Most Appealing Eyes, Best Condition, and Best Trick.

There are separate rings for male and female dogs. And rosettes are awarded for 1st to 5th place in each group. You could also try the doggy agility course or the lucky dip! The admission cost is £5 for adults and £2 for children aged 12 years and under. You don’t want to miss this pawesome event

Muddy Dog Dash

The Muddy Dog Dash is planned for the 28th of September 2025 at Avon Heath Country Park, St Leonards, Dorset. The race will begin at 10 am, and you can choose from a 3km or 5km route. The obstacle course consists of navigating through muddy ditches, tunnels, wiggle poles, tyre runs, and ramps. There will also be a doggy disco and colour rope jump. Where you can showcase your dog’s talent as well as enjoy entertainment and music from Hot Radio. Of course, there will be plenty of choices for food and drink. The cost is £15 for an adult and a dog or £10 for a child and a dog!
