๐Ÿšช ACCESS TO YOUR GARDEN

If we cannot gain access, we will contact you and wait approximately 5โ€“10 minutes
โ—First no-access visit: no charge.
โ—Repeated no-access visits: 70% of your usual service price will be charged.
This charge may still apply if you choose to clean the waste yourself after we have attended.
Please make sure gates, keys, access codes and any access instructions are working and
up to date.

๐ŸŒฟWhat We Can Scoop
We will always do our best to provide a thorough clean. However, we cannot guarantee that
every piece of dog waste will be collected.

We can only scoop waste that is reasonably visible and accessible with our equipment.
Our team will not climb into bushes, dense vegetation or other difficult-to-access areas to
search for hidden waste. We do not climb underneath trampolines or enter spaces that are
too low, tight, enclosed or otherwise unsafe to access.
Long grass, leaves, weeds, bark, gravel, stones and etc can hide
waste and make it difficult to remove.
We will not search through large piles of leaves, mulch, bark, vegetation or other debris for
hidden waste.
Where waste has broken down into mulch, bark, gravel, stones, soil or other surfaces, it may
not be possible to remove every piece.

๐Ÿ• DOGS & ANIMAL SAFETY
Dogs and other animals must be safely secured before we enter the garden. Unless
alternative arrangements have been agreed with Pooch Scoopers in advance.
Even friendly dogs can react differently when a stranger enters their garden.
If a dog or other animal becomes aggressive, threatening, highly anxious or unpredictable,
we may be unable to carry out the service or may need to leave the property.
Please let us know about any animals or behaviour that could present a safety concern
before your service.

๐Ÿ” Gates and Security

We will make reasonable checks to ensure gates are closed securely when we leave.
We may take a photograph of the gate after leaving as a record that it was closed when we
left.
It is the homeowner’s responsibility to ensure that gates, fencing and the property are
suitable and secure for their dogs.
Pooch Scoopers cannot accept responsibility for a dog escaping where our team has closed
the gate as far as reasonably possible and the gate was secure when we left.
Please make us aware of any particular gate, latch or access instructions before your
service.

๐Ÿ“ธ PHOTOGRAPHS
As part of our service records, we may take photographs of:
โ— The garden or areas being serviced
โ— Gates and access points
โ— Outdoor taps or water supplies used
โ— Access issues
โ— The condition of the garden where relevant
โ— Areas that could not be safely or reasonably accessed

of photographs for marketing will be handled separately.

๐Ÿšถ SAFE ACCESS
Please ensure there is a safe and reasonably accessible pathway to the garden and
areas we are expected to service.
If we cannot safely reach the garden or service area, we may refuse or stop the service.
Please make us aware of any known hazards, damaged paths, unstable fencing, loose
paving, fragile surfaces or other conditions that could affect our team’s safety.
The homeowner is responsible for ensuring the environment is reasonably safe for the
Pooch Scoopers team to carry out the service.

๐Ÿ’ฆ HOSES & CLEANING

Where waste leaves residue on slabs, paving or other suitable hard surfaces, we may make
reasonable efforts to clean the area.
Depending on the circumstances, we may use your outdoor hose or our own spray
bottle.
Please ensure any outdoor tap we need to use is accessible and working.

๏ธ WASTE DISPOSAL
All collected dog waste will be double-bagged using Pooch Scoopers’ waste bags and
placed into the homeowner’s outdoor/general waste bin. Unless alternative arrangements
have been agreed in advance. Please make sure your bin is accessible and has enough space for the waste collected.
If the bin is unavailable, inaccessible or too full, we may leave the securely bagged waste in
an agreed suitable location on the property.

๐Ÿงน EXTRA WASTE & ADDITIONAL WORK
Our standard service price is based on the information provided when booking and the
agreed service.
If the garden contains significantly more waste than expected, or additional work is required,
the price may need to be adjusted to reflect the additional work involved.
Where grass or vegetation is significantly longer or more overgrown than normal, additional
charges may apply to reflect the extra time and work required to complete the service.
Where reasonably possible, we will let you know about any additional charge before carrying
out the work
We will discuss any additional charge with you before carrying
out the additional work.

๐Ÿถ CHANGES IN NUMBER OF DOGS

An increase or decrease in the number of dogs may affect your service frequency or price.
